Postseason Open Thread 10/6: Wild Card Madness Part 1

The 2015 MLB Postseason officially kicks off tonight with the Astros taking on the Yankees in the AL Wild Card.

Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

We've reached the most wonderful time of the year when it comes to baseball: The Postseason. While it might be hard to accept the fact that our Braves came up just a bit short of making the playoffs this year, there's still plenty of excitement and intrigue to take in as the ten best teams in baseball this season square off to see who will be crowned as World Series Champions.

There's only one game tonight, and it's the AL Wild Card game: The Houston Astros are travelling to the Bronx to take on the New York Yankees. 162 games of hard work are all going to come down to at least 9 innings of baseball. So, who do you guys think will win tonight? I've made my casual love of the Astros very clear, so I'll be pulling for Houston to win tonight.

As usual for open threads, the floor's open for you guys to discuss anything. Just try to keep it civil and try not to be too sad about the Braves not being involved in October baseball. It'll hopefully happen sooner rather than later, y'all.
