Did you get enough of the quadruple-header that we got on Friday? If you didn't, then I've got some excellent news for you: There's another one happening today! Since this year's crop of divisional series have been pretty competitive and nobody suffered the indignity of being swept, we've got another day of a quadruple header on our hands! Hooray for baseball!
The action will start in Houston, as the Astros will be looking to knock out the defending AL Champion Kansas City Royals in what should be a scintillating elimination game. Immediately following that game, we'll be shifting our attention from South Texas to North Texas, which is where the Rangers will be taking their second crack at eliminating the Blue Jays.
After the afternoon action comes to a close, the National League will take center stage for the evening action. The Cubs and Cardinals will continue their series in what should be a lovely atmosphere at Wrigley Field. Once that game's over with, the Dodgers and Mets will take each other on. If Chase Utley's appeal isn't dealt with by then, there's a chance that he could play. If he plays, there will probably be a fight, so that alone is reason enough to watch this game.
Either way, we've got a full day of baseball action on our hands. This is the best time of the year, folks. It'd only be better if the Braves were involved, but hey, that's what future dreams are for, right?
