Danville evened their best-of-three series with the JC-Cards by soundly thumping them 6-1 last night. Ozhaino Albies keyed the offense from the leadoff spot, reaching base three times via a walk, single, and triple. Tanner Krietmeier provided some fireworks with a two-run bomb in the 5th inning, and Mike Dodig followed that up with a homer of his own in the 8th. For Dodig, it was his third hit of the night to go along with a stolen base. Joseph Daris also had a three-hit game in the 9-hole, including a triple of his own. Andrew Waszak was the star of the show however, as he scattered 7 hits and two walks across 6.2 innings of 1 run ball. He also struck out 7 men in the process. Converted former outfielder Felix Marte tossed a perfect 9th with a pair of strikeouts to finish off Danville's win. The D-Braves look to take the rubber match with Johnson City tonight at 7:00 pm.
