The ideal candidate to replace Wren would be John Coppolella, a current assistant to Wren who has made no qualms about his support for sabermetrics. Should the Braves look elsewhere, such as Royals GM Dayton Moore, this move becomes a real head-scratcher.
Inexplicably, Fredi Gonzalez still has a job.
We'll bring you more news as it comes in.
