Gwinnett took the final game of the series against Buffalo, 4-3. Over 8,000 showed up for the 10:30am start, and saw Jose Constanza go 4-5 with a double and three stolen bases. Todd Cunningham, Sean Kazmar and Christian Bethancourt each had multi-hit mornings with Cunningham stealing a bag. Tommy La Stella found a way to reach again, twice, via walk and hit-by-pitch. He has now reached base safely in 28 of his 29 starts this season. On the mound, Hector Daniel Rodriguez went five innings surrendering three runs. The bullpen did its covering the final four innings, holding the Bison scoreless, striking out five. Aside from Juan Jamie's one poor outing on May 4th, he's held opponents scoreless with a 19:9 strikeout-to-walk.

Lay Bautista put together a rather impressive start Thursday, throwing six shutout innings, walking one and striking out seven. Alex Wilson came in and recorded the three inning save. Not bad against a rather loaded Wilmongton lineup. Jose Peraza put together another two hit day, accounting for two of the Lynchburg runs. David Nick and Tyler Tewell each tripled, with Nick collected two addition singles. The 24-year-old was once a fourth round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks and was most recently a member of the Independent League's Southern Illinois Miners, before having his contract purchased by the Braves
