Game Thread 5/31: Braves at Marlins

We've reached the end of May, entered the unofficial beginning of Summer, and the more things change (coughTommyLaStellacoughShaeSimmonscough), the more they stay the same: The Braves will be entering June in 1st place or tied for 1st. Considering how wacky, wild, and sometimes frustrating this past month has been, that's a positive. Last night was a positive, too! Julio Teheran did his thing on the mound and at the plate, as the Braves came from behind to break a bad string of losses both in Miami and overall.

Now, they'll look to keep the good times rolling into another winning streak, as Ervin Santana will look to right his personal ship today against the Marlins. Meanwhile, Miami will be sending Jacob Turner to the mound in hopes that he will turn his luck around as well. If they both don't, then we'll probably see some fireworks at the plate today. Here's hoping that those fireworks are strictly on one side of the plate. Plus, Shae Simmons is on the team now, so that's cool!
