The Braves handed out their top organizational awards this weekend, honoring some of their top minor league players in the system. 19-year-old Lucas Sims (Rome) was named the organization’s Pitcher of the Year, while 22-year-old outfielder Josh Elander (Rome/Lynchburg) was named Player of the Year. Both players were selected in the 2012 draft, which has already produced Braves impact rookie, Alex Wood. Below are the rest of the Braves’ Minor League award winners from the 2013 season.
