Tropical Storm Bonnie seems to have passed through Florida, clearing the way for baseball in Miami tonight as the Braves are set to open their series with the Marlins. The pitching matchup is Derek Lowe vs. surprising rookie Alex Sanabia. Hopefully Sanabia does not give the Braves any more trouble than Bonnie did.
Eric Hinske's foot appears to be OK, as he's back in the lineup. This will be a key series for both him and Nate McLouth, as all 3 Marlins starters are right-handed. If Hinske and McLouth can't produce much in this series, the likelihood of the Braves adding another outfielder will increase. I hope McLouth actually takes a few pitches at some point. That'd probably help. Here's the rest of the lineup:
1) Prado, 2B
2) Heyward, RF
3) Jones, 3B
4) McCann, C
5) Glaus, 1B
6) Hinske, LF
7) Gonzalez, SS
8) McLouth, CF
9) Lowe, SP
