Oakland activates Gallagher

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Oakland Athletics activated pitcher Sean Gallagher from the 15-day disabled list in time to start Wednesday's contest against Detroit.
Gallagher, who had been on the DL since August 21 with shoulder fatigue, was acquired by Oakland on July 8 from the Chicago Cubs in the Rich Harden trade.
The righty was 1-2 with a 6.55 ERA in eight starts with the A's before going on the DL.
