He had some great stuff to say about the team and his performance. He also addresses the Macay McBride trade. For a big guy, Paronto is very soft spoken, as you will hear.

This is the ninth of 10 interviews with Braves players in the Mid-Year Interview Series. I caught up with Tim Hudson in the Braves clubhouse about a week before the break. There is a bit of background noise in the clubhouse, but you can still hear everything Huddy says. Actually, some of the background noise is pretty funny.

This is the eighth of 10 interviews with Atlanta Braves players in the Mid-Year Interview Series. I caught up with Kelly Johnson in the Braves clubhouse a couple of weeks before the All-Star break while he was opening fan mail. Kelly always gives really thoughtful answers to questions and I think you will hear that and enjoy them in this interview. There is a bit of background noise, but after a minute you should begin to overlook it as you focus on what KJ is saying.

He started out giving me some so-so answers and then said, "wait, don't print that, let's start over." So we walked over to his locker and started anew... with him giving better answers to my questions.

This is the sixth of 10 interviews with Atlanta Braves players in the Mid-Year Interview Series. I caught up with Matt Diaz in the Braves clubhouse a couple of weeks before the All-Star break. I've spoken with Matt several times before and he's always been very gracious with his time. He seemed a bit rushed this time, but he still had some good answers, eventually. During the interview you can hear Peter Moylan in the background chiding Diaz to "man-up" and give some better answers - it's pretty funny. I'm thinking of having Moylan do the interviews next time, I bet he would be great at it.

This is the fourth of 10 interviews with Braves players in the Mid-Year Interview Series. I caught up with Edgar Renteria in the Braves clubhouse a couple of weeks before the All-Star break (before the teams were announced). Edgar is a real nice guy and seems rather soft spoken. He speaks English pretty well, and I think you will enjoy his accent in this interview. He might be a little hard to understand, but that might be due to the fact that he had a dip in his mouth rather than his ability to speak English.

This is the first of 10 interviews with Atlanta Braves players in the Mid-Year Interview series. Consider this the "dry-run" of these downloadable interviews. Please leave any feedback in the comments section about difficulty you might have accessing the file, downloading it, or any audio problems.

Hopefully everyone will enjoy this format for interviews. I started with Peter Moylan because this is by far one of the funnier interviews I've done. Peter has a great sense of humor which I think will come across, but I also think he is one of the more candid and honest players with his answers to questions.
