RIck was a sinkerball pitcher who spent time as both starter and reliever. I didn't know any of the stuff about the lobbying until I read it in this article.
I'm not sure if there is anyone left at TC that doesn't know this story by heart yet, but it's good to see the paper of record giving the bear some attention.
As of right now, we don't have much starting pitching depth, but things should change significantly within the next year. Gilmartin and Graham should be ready at the end of the year and Wood could be ready as well.
