Beckham suffered the injury during the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Giants. He came up lame while running out a ground ball. Chase d'Arnaud replaced Beckham at shortstop in the seventh and the Braves said that Beckham would be reevaluated Thursday morning.
Beckham has been a pleasant surprise for the Braves so far this season when healthy hitting .284 with a pair of homers and 16 RBIs. He missed about three weeks earlier in the season with a similar hamstring injury.
Snyder was hitting .325 with two homers and 20 RBIs in 34 games at Gwinnett. He has appeared in 83 career games at the Major League level hitting .243 with five homers and 20 RBIs.
