On the 12th episode of the Talking Chop Podcast, we come to you one day late thanks to travel and school concerns. It worked out well for us though, considering the flurry of roster activity that came yesterday.
By recording Monday night, Brad, Eric and myself were able to delve into those moves and also talk about the MLB Draft primer that Eric had just posted. Speaking of Eric, props to him for being our first "guest" to hop on three episodes of the Podcast.
We definitely appreciate his insight and knowledge of the minor league system in its entirety and we hope you are able to enjoy that as well in this episode.
We begin by talking way too much about Jace Peterson and his future with the team, before turning to the MLB Draft and salivating at some of the names that the Braves might be able to have with the No. 3 overall pick. Finally we talk about the promotions of Dansby Swanson and Ozzie Albies, as well as the electric starts that we've seen from Rio Ruiz, Mike Soroka, Max Povse and Lucas Sims.
As always, you can find the podcast on the iTunes Store and via our SoundCloud page.
Enjoy.
