Withrow had pitched reasonably well this spring allowing one earned run over 2.1 innings. He had struggled a bit with his control and that will likely be the focus for him while he's with Gwinnett. Atlanta acquired Withrow along with Juan Uribe in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers last summer. He missed all of the 2015 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery.
Marksberry got off to a good start this spring but stumbled a bit in his last outing. He has allowed three hits and three runs in 3.1 inning so far this spring.
Update
The Braves have confirmed the move and also re-assigned reliever Hunter Cervenka to minor league camp. The Spring training roster now stands at 46 players.
