Torres began his career in 2009 as a member of the Chicago White Sox. He spent the last three seasons with the New York Mets. Torres appeared in 59 games for the Mets last season and went 5-6 with a 4.68 ERA in 57.2 innings.
Torres joins a growing mix of veteran players that are coming to camp with the Braves to try and earn a spot in the team's bullpen. Pitchers and catchers report to Disney on February 19 with the first workout scheduled for February 20.
