Best Lefty Duos & Betting....Against Yourself?

Hey everyone longtime Braves & TC fan and this is my first post. Born in Iowa and now live in KC (was rooting for them, it made it more fun this summer). When you grow up in Iowa you just pick a team because nobody plays there...in anything.

Anyways, I have two things that have been churning away in my head.

1) I keep up the best I can with our prospects and to me it seems that with Nuke and Allard we could potentially have 2 LH aces. I tried searching around online the best way I know how (Google, Yahoo, sorry) but I was wondering if someone with more baseball knowledge than me could tell me the best LH duo on the same team. Best I can come up w/ is Glavine, Avery so I guess I'm just a homer.

2) The second relates to the first. While searching for this answer I stumbled upon a top 10 LHP prospect list that Newcombe was on. Sorry if this has been discussed before, but one of the guys on the list (who has been traded twice now) is Andrew Heaney. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/106938006/2015-prospect-watch-top-10-left-handed-pitchers

I stumbled upon an interesting article at MLBTR about how he struck a deal (that MLB OK'd) with some sort of investment company where he was paid 3.34 mil up front. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/09/heaney-fantex-giants-blanco-padres.html

If you don't read the article what he invested in was himself essentially. He agreed to give them 10% of whatever he earns....for the ENTIRETY of his career. Now considering he was the 18th overall prospect according to MLBs prospect rankings in 2014 around the time of the deal he was probably considered a worthwhile gamble for the investors (Fantex). The issue I have is that it seems that Mr. Heaney is betting against himself. Considering aces now are making ~30m/yr if he is anything even close to an ace he is going to lose big time on this deal. Am I justified in thinking this kid really screwed the pooch on this deal? Most guys I would think that are the highly regarded are brimming with confidence, yet it seems like he is betting against himself that he wont be having a very successful MLB career. Maybe I'm the crazy one, if so be sure to let me know.

Again sorry if this one has been discussed before. Hope my first post provokes some debate in at least one of you guys. Go Braves 2019!
