After last night's nailbiter at Citi Field, we've come to the rubber match of the series. Once again, the Braves and Mets have had a tightly contested series, and there's really no reason to expect tonight to be any different. You may as well find something or someone to hold onto, because it'll probably be another close one.
Jon Niese will be the Mets' starter tonight, while the Braves will be trotting Mike Minor out. Minor appears to be returning to the form that made him a vital part of the team that won the division last season, and it's better late than never.
As far as the lineup is concerned, Emilio Bonifacio is back in center tonight, Gerald Laird will be relieving Evan Gattis at backstop, and Chris Johnson is back at the hot corner. Here's hoping he's shaken the double plays out of his system. Please. Pretty please.
