Danville beat the K-Mets by a 7-1 score last night. Andrew Waszak had a good start on the mound, pitching seven strong innings and allowing three hits and three walks, allowing only one run. He struck out six batters, and didn't allow any extra base hits. Tyler Vail and Michael Flores each pitched one scoreless inning in relief. Matt Tellor hit his first professional home run, a solo shot in the fourth inning. He also added a single and drove in three runs. Joseph Daris singled and walk at the top of the lineup, and Ozhaino Albies also reached twice on walks despite not picking up a hit. He also committed a fielding error in the game. Jordan Edgerton also drove in a run, singled, and walked. Max Povse will pitch against the Mets as the two teams face again in Danville tonight.
