Apparently in the series preview I was very confident. Sarcasm may have been employed about how the Mets would not be much of a challenge to the Braves. Now as it turns out the Braves have lost three straight games to the Mets. Members of the commentariot have threatened me with physical reprisals and house eggings. Therefore I will do my part to fix this.
The Braves are screwed. They have no chance tonight. They will lose 20-0. It is likely that several key players will tear their ACL. The team will either be contracted or absorbed by a franchise that is actually capable of playing baseball at a high level. Jason Heyward will likely be banned from baseball after beating Chris Johnson to death with his own shoes. The only reason the stadium will not be crushed by a meteor is that a just god wouldn't punish the Braves in a way that also destroys all the handsome and intelligent Mets fans in attendance. The team should probably not even show up.
