This is getting monotonous.
For the first six innings, this game was a carbon copy of yesterday. All the Giants runs came via homer and they send the Braves to a fifth straight loss, this time by a score of 3-1.
In this case, Julio Teheran surrendered a home run to Brandon Belt leading off the second inning. B.J. Upton tied the score in the third with a double to score Jason Heyward; another hit put runners at first and third with no outs, but nothing else came of the rally, which is beyond frustrating at this point. Buster Posey untied the score with a home run leading off the fourth and then in the seventh, Michael Morse added yet another solo homer.
The Giants offense only had one other hit besides the three solo homers. Atlanta was 2-8 with RISP and left seven on base. Ryan Vogelsong walked four in six innings and gave up five hits, but the Braves offense looked helpless yet again.
