As a Braves fan living in Birmingham, Alabama, I usually attend 3-5 games per year. At home, I basically pay dish network year round so that I can watch the braves live (just about) every day. Doing so requires a special "sports package." In my quest to get rid of cable, I looked into MLBTV. No good--I'm in the braves blackout footprint, and apparently even away games are blacked out, for some stupid reason. I subscribe to the AtBat app that allows me to listen to games when I'm out of town (I travel a good bit), and that's been pretty great. I'm unfamiliar with how online broadcasts work--maybe some of you can shed some light on that for me. Anyway, with the season around the corner, I was hoping to get some perspective from fellow braves fans on the best way to watch the braves. Thanks!!
