What have we learned? We can say, that on a batter-by-batter basis, Craig Kimbrel is (so far) the greatest pitcher in the history of baseball. As Braves fans, we've been lucky enough to watch Kimbrel terrify the opposition for more than three years. As much as we may debate the decision to extend an eight figure contract to a relief pitcher, we should be extremely thankful to both Braves' management and Kimbrel himself for giving us the opportunity to watch him dominate for at least four more years.

Yes, it's inappropriate to say three years into a pitcher's career. Yes, it's definitely a statement made by a lunatic homer. Yes, it's probably incorrect. However, I believe it.

Craig Kimbrel is one of the greatest pitchers in MLB history.
