Ugly Game 2 spat considered a "miscommunication"
The postseason hasn't been kind to Hunter Strickland. When he gave up a sixth-inning home run to Omar Infante that capped the five-run inning, he became a little upset. It was the fifth homer allowed in 5.1 playoff innings for Strickland, and he took out his anger on Salvador Perez, who scored on the homer. Perez was understandably confused, and Strickland later explained his reaction.
I was more frustrated at not executing my pitches. It was miscommunication. My emotions just got the best of me. I'm not too proud of that, but it is what it is. I can't take it back.
Tim Hudson finally makes first World Series start
At 39 years, 103 days, Hudson is the third-oldest pitcher to make his first World Series start and we as Braves fans couldn't be happier for him. He's had a number of chances before with the Braves and the A's before that. Congrats, Huddy!
Joe Maddon opts out as Rays manager
I'm pretty sure this was a shocker to everyone. He had this option once Andrew Friedman took a new position with the Dodgers and he took advantage of it. Everyone thinks he'll be managing the Dodgers even though Friedman and various media sources say otherwise. Some believe he'll go to the Cubs, while the Twins have a managerial vacancy of their own. Maddon has said he wants to stay in the Tampa area, but I'm sure many of us Braves fans want him to change his mind. We're like kindergartners who know the answer to a question and stick a hand up as high as possible and flail it around hoping to get picked; I'd jump on the desk and wave both hands if I had to. It's too bad that DOB had to take a dump on that idea.
No. RT @T_Clark39: @DOBrienAJC Any chance Braves go after Maddon? Upgrade to Fredi.

Also, I can't tell if he's trolling here.
Bochy's available? RT @BlinkBraveHawk: @DOBrienAJC @T_Clark39 When the best manager since Bobby Cox becomes available, you get him!

Any manager who starts Dan Uggla at second base can't be considered the best, Dave. No wonder nobody likes you.
