With the series tied up at a game apiece, the Giants and Royals will square off tonight. Former Brave Tim Hudson will start on the mound for San Francisco, and Jeremy Guthrie will oppose him for Kansas City. There's a chance of rain in the Bay Area tonight, so hopefully they'll be able to get this contest in.
While it's difficult not to root for the Royals in this series, I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't be happy for Huddy if the Giants were to win the series. He's been a pretty darn good pitcher throughout his career, and he's certainly in the twilight of it at 38 years old. It's crazy to think about the fact that this is almost certainly the most important start he's ever made in his 16-year career.
So, here's to Huddy pitching well.
