That being said, what's left to do for the Braves? The most recent move was the signing of LHP Atahualpa Severino. President John Schuerholz publicly said that Wren is "not finished". This probably means just more depth moves like the signing of Severino, but there may be a slim chance that the Braves are in on a big name free agent starting pitcher? There are many still out there--Matt Garza, Ervin Santana, Ubaldo Jimenez, A.J. Burnett, Bronson Arroyo, Scott Baker, Chris Capuano, Alfredo Aceves, Jason Hammel, Jason Marquis, Zach Duke, Barry Zito. Is there a good chance the Braves sign any of these? Not likely. In fact, David O'Brien has already denounced any interest in some names, like Bronson Arroyo. However, it is still a slight possibility and is worth watching until Spring Training.
