Rome tied the game in the 8th and walked it off in the 9th for the win Sunday. Mauricio Cabrera, TC’s 4th ranked prospect, only gave up two hits over six innings of work Sunday night. He has made back-to-back great starts since being roughed up in prior outings. Shae Simmons, my sleeper prospect, pitched 1.1 and picked up the all important win. On offense, Kyle Wren and Jose Peraza reeked havoc at the top of the order again. Each went 1-4 and stole a base, Wren’s 12th and Peraza’s 41st; Wren is a perfect 15-for-15 as a pro. Peraza on the other hand continues to struggle on defense, committing two more throwing errors.
