Skip Schumaker went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored last night, extending his hitting streak to 12 games since May 17. Schumaker is batting .400 (16-for-40) with three doubles and four RBI during the run, which is the third-longest active streak in the Majors. Schumaker has raised his batting average 67 points (from .194 to .261) during the streak and, after batting just .119 (5-for-42) in his first 23 games, he is hitting .348 (24-for-69) in 26 games since May 4.
