Introduction thread for our new members (CAC/TC merger)

Two popular Braves sites merge in the beginning of Summer. Baseball is no longer new, and it isn't close to it's final stages. Lost in glorious daily-baseball action is the nuts and bolts of this merger. Lots of people have expressed varying opinions, on both sides. Few of us know what to expect besides the fact that we are all generally unified by Braves fandom, new faces have appeared and shown varying degrees of friendliness and competence.

I thought it'd be excellent if some of these new members could come forward and let us get to know them better. Though there is some manner of turn-over in the TC membership, many of us have known each other for years and have a good idea what to expect from one another. Perhaps having some level of familiarity with some of our new members w would be a nice way to ease this transitional period.

No need to treat this like confessional, I was thinking a bit of information, maybe a Braves fan story, a few key moments of Braves fandom that stick in your head, and a bit of personal information would be great, anything to get us started on the steps towards unity.

Fellow TCers, new or old, feel free to include this same information about yourself. Maybe this post can help us identify the newcomers from CAC from new membership to the blog all-together, and might help ease some growing pains.

As for me, I hope that this blog manages to stay true to the things that were so appealing about it in the first place. Those being, strong writers with thought-provoking and poignant articles and a community that took that forum to the next level with constant discourse, joking, general shenanagins, and a sense of camaraderie that allowed for a really excellent addition to the fan experience. But I am also excited to see how new insights can revitalize a tried and true community.

Cheers to all.
