MOOSIC, PA (May 13, 2013) - Photos from the fourth game of the SWB RailRiders/Gwinnett Braves series. A little late, because SB Nation's technical difficulties made posting FanPosts a pain...
Yohan Flande started for the G-Braves.
The RailRiders' starter was big left-hander Nik Turley.
Todd Cunningham fields a fly out in the second.
Jason Heyward doubles in the third.
Curtis Granderson is almost doubled off in the 4th, but the throw is not in time.
Center fielder Todd Cunningham after striking out in the 4th. Though he went 0 for 3 in this game, he's really been on a tear in May.

Third baseman Joe Leonard, during "God Bless America" in the 7th inning stretch.
Cole McCurry pitches in the 7th inning.
Tyler Pastornicky at bat in the rain.
It was freezing. Heck, it sleeted earlier in the day. The umpire was jumping up and down in place, trying to keep warm.
Paul Janish fields a groundout in the 8th.
New acquisition Kameron Loe pitched the 8th.
It was tied 2-2 going into the 9th, when Ernesto Mejia broke the tie with a home run to left center.

Actually, I just liked that sign above the bullpen. The Reds should get something similar. Their bullpen seems like a big gamble these days.
Cory Rasmus (since called up) closed it out. It was three up, three down for Rasmus.
The last out was a groundout to SS.
After the game, Jason Heyward gave his batting gloves to a lucky fan.
I can't complain, though. I got a souvenir of my own.
I’ve been going to baseball games for years, but never gotten a ball. I’m not very aggressive, and I’m usually holding too much camera gear to go chasing after balls. So when a ball comes in my direction, other fans shove me out of the way to get it, and I let them.
But I finally got a ball, this cold, rainy night. Someone in the Gwinnett dugout took pity on me and threw me a ball for being the only one in my section to stay to the end. Ordinarily, I’d have felt I should give it to a kid, but there were no kids around on that wet, freezing school night. So it was mine - my first baseball. It made me ridiculously happy.
Final score: Braves 3, RailRiders 2. Me, one slightly used baseball. :-)
