Only six pitchers in the modern era of baseball (1900 to present) have racked up 200 pitching victories AND done so with a winning percentage of .650 or higher:
Tonight, our very own TIM HUDSON has a chance to become only the seventh member of this illustrious group!
No Brave has ever really come close to this percentage (Maddux .610, Glavine .600, Spahn .597, Smoltz .579), so this is a huge night for the entire franchise history.
More importantly, if Halladay keeps stinking it up... Hudson will pass him AND Clemens into the TOP FIVE OF ALL TIME highest percentages for 200+ game winners within the next few weeks.
Given the way our team is playing thus far, I like Huddy's chances of winning at least 2/3 of his games this year and continuing to climb up the charts.
