Picture from 1955

So, surfing the internet today, I came across this website, and specifically this photo from Ponce de Leon Park:

In any case, I thought it'd be interesting to pinpoint the date that the Milwaukee Braves were playing the Brooklyn Dodgers. To help, of course I used Baseball-reference.com. To help, I knew these things:

1) The A's didn't start playing in Kansas City until 1955.

2) The Washington Senators became the Twins in 1960.

3) The Dodgers and the Giants moved to LA and SF in 1958.

Not to bore with details, but I went to each year from '55 to '57, looking at the teams that were matched up on the board for that date. In short, I believe that the scoreboard is showing the scores from one of these dates:

June 24 or 26, 1955, or August 2, 3, 4 1955.

Those are the only dates that I can for certain match. Sadly, I can't find the Southern Association records from that year, so I can't place the date to the day without that info. If you by chance know where that information can be obtained, I'd appreciate it. But hey, not too bad getting it to five dates, right?
