It should make for an interesting matchup between two bona fide contenders, plus the interleague, Braves-playing-under-AL-rules factor. I'd like to see a classic Tim Hudson outing, taming down a potent lineup by making them hit a lot grounders to Andrelton Simmons. On the other hand, with this year's lineup strikeout tendencies, lets hope Justin Verlander doesn't take this opportunity to challenge Kid-K or The Rocket on most Ks in a game.

Dave Cameron recently wrote that the Braves are not suited for the AL game (ESPN Insider), and that headline got me thinking into what Fredi would do. If B-Mac is back, Fredi should bat him at DH and keep shuffling Evan Gattis and Gerald Laird at catcher.
If he's not back, things get tricky...
Gattis could DH, but what if something happens to Laird? Since there's no word on emergency catcher plans, I'd say Fredi will probably look elsewhere unless they get someone called up. Some current roster options:
