The Braves could be one of the most powerful clubs in baseball this season. If the first week and a half of Spring Training is any indication, there will be plenty of balls clearing the wall at Turner Field in 2013.
Nine other players have clubbed a homer; of those nine players, every projected starter in Atlanta excluding Andrelton Simmons and Brian McCann has one. Simmons appeared in two games before heading to the World Baseball Classic, while McCann is still recovering from shoulder surgery.
And speaking of Uggla's home run, this was a great video from Sunday afternoon.
It's not a guarantee that these power numbers will translate to the regular season, but Fredi Gonzalez has to be excited about the team's ability to score runs in hurry with all the boppers in his lineup.
