An open thread to discuss the Braves' Spring Training game against the Mets
The Braves continue their spring schedule this afternoon as the head to Port St. Lucie to take on the Mets at 1:05 PM EDT. The Braves won 4-0 against the Yankees yesterday as Paul Maholm turned in 6 shutout innings, allowing only 2 hits. Atlanta's offense was powered by the second monster home run from Juan Francisco in as many days. Today, Julio Teheran will look to keep his strong spring going as he makes his 5th start of the year. Teheran's 18 spring punchouts are 5 more than anyone else on the staff so far this spring.
Behind Teheran, the Braves line up like this:
- Jordan Schafer, CF
- Gerald Laird, C
- Freddie Freeman, 1B
- Dan Uggla, 2B
- Chris Johnson, 3B
- Jordan Parraz, RF
- Ramiro Pena, SS
- Jose Constanza, LF
- Julio Teheran, SP
