An open thread to discuss Atlanta's spring training contest against the Nationals at Space Coast Stadium.
The Braves make their first visit of the spring to Space Coast Stadium in Viera to battle the Nats. Game time is 1:05 p.m. ET. Dave O'Brien tweeted that starting Monday, Braves pitchers will start hitting for the remainder of Spring Training. Washington, on the other hand, will be using the DH in this game. Paul Maholm will start for Atlanta, Stephen Strasburg for the Nats. Following Maholm in relief will be Cory Gearrin, Anthony Varvaro and Aaron Northcraft. Jason Heyward is out of the lineup with some shoulder soreness. More on Heyward.
