Big Leagues Magazine's Season Preview issue now on sale

For those getting back into baseball mode, Big Leagues Magazine's Season Preview is a great starting point to get you caught up.

For those who don't know what Big Leagues Magazine is, you're not alone. It's a relatively new monthly online baseball publication started by Jim Pratt, who has put together a great staff of writers to cover the happenings of Major League baseball. To summarize:

Big Leagues Magazine is an online publication that provides readers with comprehensive coverage of Major League Baseball. Our feature columns include prospect analysis, the corporate side of baseball, monthly interviews, an in-depth look at the history of MLB, the latest trade rumors and fantasy baseball coverage that focuses on both Mixed League and AL/NL Only formats.

The season preview issue features over 140 pages chocked full of information on every Major League team. Each team preview was done by someone who writes about that specific team, and each individual teams preview includes a player by player roster breakdown, fantasy stars, sleepers, and busts, and a top ten prospect list with scouting reports.

I contributed the Braves season preview, which you can read a snippet of here. The Atlanta Braves top ten prospect list was done by Lincoln Hamilton, who you can follow on twitter here.

The preview issue also features a number of stories that aren't team previews, including a great interview with Grantland's Jonah Keri.

This issue of Big Leagues Magazine gives you all of the above for just $4.95, and can be purchased through the magazines website. As of now, the magazine is exclusively electronic/online, but will soon be accessible via the Amazon Kindle, Nook, and iTunes.
