The flame throwing 26-year-old was the only Brave in action Tuesday, hurling a perfect inning, striking out two. Not only was he perfect but he was efficient, retiring the side on 11 pitches, eight for strikes. Jaime struck out Mariners 23-year-old farmhand Chris Taylor and 22-year-old Nolan Fontana, a SS in the Astros system. In Arizona, he now has thrown 8.1 innings, with a 12:7 strikeout-to-walk. The club has eight games remaining in the season, concluding on November 14th.
