There's more teams than you'd probably think that are doing this, and the list is growing. The Cincinatti Reds are incorporating a "Los Rojos" jersey in 2013. However, there are some teams you probably didn't know about that had a Hispanic jersey. Here are a few, including the beautiful Los Rojos jersey from the Reds:
One might wonder what the Atlanta Braves jersey would look like with a Hispanic twist to it. Here's a few simple steps to imagining it:
Step 1: Use the Braves' regular home white jersey.
Step 2: Replace "Braves" with "Bravos".
Step 3: Nonchalantly place a "Los" on the right shoulder of the jersey, above the Bravos logo, all of it in the traditional Braves font.
I believe there is a great reason to have such jerseys. It is a large pattern that Hispanics love the Atlanta Braves pretty much more than any other MLB team. If the Mets have one, then so can we. From my count, 10 of the 40 players on the Braves' 40-man roster are Hispanic. And even then, some our coaches are Hispanic too: Fredi Gonzalez, Eddie Perez, and Carlos Tosca. After picturing the "Los Bravos" jersey for a minute, I think it could work.
What's your opinion?
