We hadn't had a good Justin Upton rumor in weeks, but that changed on Wednesday afternoon. And it might be the most substantial rumor yet.
According to ESPN's Buster Olney, the Braves and Diamondbacks have picked up talks for the 25-year-old outfielder. Olney also says the Braves are the frontrunner to land Upton, and that many feel Atlanta's offer is a strong one.
D-Backs talks with the Braves about JUpton have resumed; ATL said to be in hard on this. They're likely the frontrunner, if JUpton is dealt.

The Diamondbacks have been reviewing the Braves' offer for Upton; some folks involved feel like it's a strong offer.

Olney also tweeted that the Diamondbacks seem determined to solve their outfield issues by Friday. They have also reportedly been looking to deal Jason Kubel.
Stay tuned, folks. We've had Upton rumors before, but I'm not sure they've ever been this substantial. Let's just hope Olney is right.
