The old Battle Axe can't stay away.
Future Atlanta Braves Hall of Famer Chipper Jones tweeted this last night:
Ok, I've decided that I'm going to spring training......to visit my ex teammates, golf and fish and maybe get a tan and c a man @ a horse!

You knew Chipper couldn't stay away for any length of time. This is likely the first step on his road to becoming a coach. I imagine he'll do something similar to what Tom Glavine did a couple of years ago when he visited spring training. He helped out with the Major League portion, but he also helped out a lot on the minor league fields, providing extra instruction and inspiration. The minor league guys love it when Major Leaguers, especially legends like Glavine and Chipper, come over to their camp.
Remember too that Bobby Cox couldn't stay away from his first spring training after "retiring." This is a good thing. It's a good sign for a team that their former players want to be around. And hey, maybe we really will get a "fat Chipper" picture this spring.
