The Braves will be celebrating Chipper Jones all weekend at Turner Field.
Tonight is Chipper Jones Tribute Night at Turner Field, as the Atlanta Braves honor their future Hall of Famer during his final regular season homestand. The Braves will honor Chipper on the field in a pre-game ceremony beginning at 7pm. The ceremony will be broadcast live on Fox Sports South.
Fans attending the game will also get a commemorative print highlighting Chipper Jones' final 2012 season.
A few of the Braves folks I follow on Twitter (@BadBean74 and @nicmost) are doing a Turner Field stadium tour this morning, and snipped these photos of the outfield grass, which has a very large "10" mowed into it in honor of the man of the hour.
It's going to be a tear-jerkingly wonderful weekend. Go Braves!
