Simmons not in the lineup over concern of a high ankle sprain suffered yesterday. According to DOB, it's not too serious.

Maholm has not fared well at all in his career against Milwaukee (3-10, 4.87 ERA), winning only once in his last 18 starts against them. Bourn is hitting just .227 since the All-Star Break and is striking out once every 3.5 at-bats; he certainly needs to fix what's ailing him now.
