Gus Schlosser tossed another gem, striking out 7 over 7 shutout innings, putting the Hillcats just one win away from clinching the championship. In 2 playoff starts, the 23 year old sidearmer has struck out 13 over 15 shutout innings, allowing just 2 walks and 7 hits, a fine way to cap of a season that saw him earn Carolina League Pitcher Of The Year honors. Juan Jaime picked up a save in his third straight playoff appearance, and he's struck out 6 in 3.1 innings in that stretch. Dan Brewer drove in the only run of the game, singling in David Rohm in the 5th inning after Rohm had reached on a double.
Lynchburg will turn to righty Aaron Northcraft on Wednesday as they look to take the championship in Game 4. The Dash will counter with Scott Snodgress. You can listen to the game, which starts at 6pm Eastern time, live at lynchburg-hillcats.com.
