Post Season lineup, what's everyone's version?

Blah Blah Blah, this isn't about the roster, thus it can't be rosterbation...I just wanna place to share my growing enthusiasm for the team in the post season. I know our record the last week or so hasn't been pretty, but seeing Heyward, Hudson, Freeman and Venters perform is really encouraging. So I drew up the lineup, how I would envision it, and started thinking about its qualities and how far it could go in the playoffs.. I'm about to show you what I'm thinking, but I'd love to see yall's lineups, and hear why yall think we have a lineup that can win games in the playoffs, and what challenges you think we face.

Here's the lineup I wanna see in the WS:

That's making me feel pretty good...Of course, it comes down to how our guys perform, but if they just perform at their season stat levels, we should recognize ourselves as WS competitors: If Bourn plays like a guy that’s leading the league in stolen bases with a 350 OBP, if Prado hits behind him like a guy with a 300 avg and a 350 OBP, if Heyward hits like a guy with a .280 ba and 350 OBP w 25+ HR and 20+ SBs, and Chipper hits like a guy with a 310 ba and a 385 OBP w 15 HR in less than 400 Abs, and Freeman hits like a guy batting .270 w a .345 OBP and 20 HRs, then I’m not too worried about what Uggla, McCann and Simmons contribute with the bat and on the bases, which could be substantial.

Considering that with the off days, Chipper should play most games, I think our 1-5 is pretty formidable, and many teams would be envious of a 6-8 with a guy that leads the league in walks, another guy hitting 20 HRs, and another with speed and a 300 avg. If we have a ninth batter, I have to say, a platoon of Francisco and Reed Johnson sounds phenomenal—both could slide in ahead of Simmons.

The lineup can be so threatening, starting with Simmons’ speed at the bottom and turning over to the fastest guy in the NL, followed by a guy with 15 SBs (Prado) and another with 20 (Heyward). That’s a top of the lineup that can really get some things going, and it isn’t just their speed, all of them hit for average—including Heyward who has been hitting 306 for the last three months. Then that’s followed by our switch-clutch living legend with a BA around 310 and 13 HRs, which, pro rated to 650 PAs, would be 25+. This offense has proven it can perform, and despite all the moves the dodgers are making, if we are clicking, we can put up as many runs as any team put together right now.

The other thing that’s lifting my post season spirits is the performance of Tim Hudson. Dude has only lost four games this year, his ERA is back down below 3.5, and he’s won 13 games, and pitched to a 2.95 ERA in his last 9 starts. I’m ready for him to pitch a one game playoff. Then there’s Maholm, whose got a 1.76 ERA in his last ten starts and should be a superb lefty to throw out there in the playoffs. The third cog in our playoff rotation has also revived my hopes for our playoff longevity. I really believe we can hand the ball to Kris Medlen and expect him to leave it up to our own offense. He’s got a .81 ERA in the second half. FvcI<ing Bulldog! The point is, we are talking about three starting pitchers we can expect to win games in the playoffs.

Complimenting an offense I believe in and three starters I believe in, Venters hasn’t allowed a run in his last twelve appearances, in which he’s thrown thirteen strikeouts. I think he’s back to being Johnny, and I think we are back to O’ventbrel. Then there’s Durbin, who’s had an ERA under 2.4 since the end of April, including a 1.29 ERA in his last 2 months/20 innings. Behind him, Minor should be a great Loogy, and Hanson or Sheets should be phenomenal long men.

The other thing to mention is that Bourn is the best CF in baseball, Heyward rated as the snd best OF in baseball, and Prado is in the top 15. Simmons is elite, Uggla is leading the league in UZR at 2nd and Freeman can pic it... ShIt man... I think we can win games
