Is Mike Trout already the best player in baseball?

I know this is a Braves post site, but I have to hear the opinions of some educated baseball fans. This guy is absolutely sick and I can't imagine what he can become if he only gets better year after year.

Trout just turned 21. In his rookie season, he leads the AL in batting average and stolen bases. He's tied for 14th in HRs (only player in the AL that has more HRs in less ABs than Trout is Bautista), 19th in RBI (AL), and is tops in oWAR in the AL only behind McCutchen in the majors.

McCutchen is having an amazing year in Piitsburgh. Trout has 38 less ABs but has 10 more runs scored, a higher slugging percentage, and a very close amount of doubles, triples, homers, and RBI. Trout also has 25 more SB than McCutchen.

Of the 4 guys in the majors that have an OPS over 1.000, only Trout and McCutchen have been healthy all year. It's unbelievable that a 21 year old rookie continues to go off in every major category like this.

In the AL, he's 1st in steals, 1st in WAR, 6th in dWAR, 8th in total bases, 1st in OPS+, 1st in runs scored, 1st in batting average, etc etc. If this kid gets better, he is going to be a scary dude for years to come.

So I'm curious to see what you guys think. Is this a one year thing, or is this guy the best 5 tool player we have seen in a long time?
