Martin Picks Up League Leading 9th Win, Leonard Drives In 5 In Doubleheader Sweep, and Sims Is Unhittable In Saturday's Atlanta Braves Minor League Action

Cody Martin picked up his Carolina League leading ninth win tonight for Lynchburg.

Cody Martin picked up his league leading 9th win and was helped by an explosive Lynchburg offense, Mississippi swept a doubleheader with the help of Joe Leonard's 5 RBI, Brandon Drury and Feilx Marte continued their hot hitting, and Lucas Sims was unhittable in the GCL.

Ryne Harper struck out 2 in 2 scoreless innings, and since joining the Hillcats he has a 0.55 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP, 2 walks, and 19 strikeouts in 16.1 innings over 9 appearances. Myke Jones rapped out 3 doubles and walked tonight, and he's reached safely in each of his last 6 games, going 6-24 with 3 doubles, a triple, 5 RBI, and 5 walks.
