Bluebird Banter Story on Yunel Trade

I was reading through Braves articles on CNNSI this morning and ran across a link to today in Blue Jay's history.

I really just want to get everyone's opinion on that trade that sent Yunel to Toronto and brought us the great glove of Alex Gonzalez. If you read some of the comments on the bottom and the poll they have attached, most Blue Jays fans think they came out ahead in that trade in the long run. Honestly, I have to agree. Even though Yunel was not liked by Bobby or Chipper, he is still at least PLAYING for the Jays.

Alex Gonzalez never seemed to hit good enough for the Braves. I really only remember one big hit he made in Sept of 2010 against the Cardinals when he hit a walk-off HR.

All in all I'm glad we have Simba now finally. Something about him screams multiple Gold Gloves and HOPEFULLY a semi-dependable bat.
