Ben Sheets vs. Johan Santana

If you haven't heard, the Braves acquired Janish from the Reds yesterday (link). Uggla has just one hit in 21 at-bats against Santana, hence why he's not starting.

This will be the first major-league start for Sheets in almost two full years, having last pitched July 19, 2010. His last start against the Mets was in 2008. The Braves sent Randall Delgado to the minors to make room for Sheets on the active roster. It certainly looks like he won't be the fifth starter. Of course, he may be back up next Saturday for the double-header in Washington.

Atlanta will be trying for a seventh straight win. Their last such streak was in 2010 when they won nine straight.
