The GCL Braves were the only Braves' minor league affiliate to get a game in tonight, but only managed 5 hits all day. Jose Pereze, the speedy GCL shortstop, went 2-5 with a triple. Conner Lien brought Pereza home with an RBI double for the GCL Braves only run of the day. Jackson Laumann and Luis Madrid accounted for the GCL Braves' other two hits with a single apiece. Chad Rodgers started for the Braves and was dominant, striking out 4 men in 1.1 innings while walking one. Peter Moylan followed with his last rehab appearance in the GCL, throwing 1.2 perfect innings, striking out 1 and not allowing a flyball.
The GCL Braves take on the GCL Yankees tomorrow, probables TBA.
