Right now, the reliable guys are Bourn, Prado, Simba and Heyward. Everyone else is so off and on for the offense.Getting a couple capable bench guys wouldn't hurt or maybe promote Meijia and hopefully Gattis when he is ready.

The pitching really took a hit when Beachy went down. All the pitchers have shown flashes of being very good and then have really bad starts. I think getting a veteran starter would help the Braves a lot. Call me stupid, but the Braves miss Derek Lowe. You may have to give up a haul, but now is the time.

The bullpen needs to be addressed. The only lock down guys right now seem to be Kimbrel and Durbin. All you praise Martinez, but he simply isn't getting it done. Same with Medlen. Venters has shown his former self in some appearances and then others has been downright awful. EOF is having a sub par year and Varvaro/Gearrin haven't got the job done either. Wish we could have JJ Hoover back.
